On Thursday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m. and again on Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m., AUMPAI will present a THAI GREEN CURRY MENU ($48). We begin with a Fresh Fruit Salad with Lime Dressing. This is followed by Som Tom, the green papaya salad that’s one of my favorites, served with coconut Jasmine rice. Our entrée is Green Curry Pork Tenderloin with Thai Eggplant. Dessert is one of AUMPAI’s specialties, Mango and Jackfruit with Sweet Sticky Rice.
AUMPAI HOLT has been a member of our staff for more than a dozen years. It took me 18 months to get her to teach a class the first time, and I’m still lucky to get her to teach once a year. Born in Thailand, she is an amazing cook, and not just of Asian food.
