On Saturday, February 25 beginning at 10:00 a.m. we’ll get serious when the LITTLE GUYS LEARN KITCHEN BASICS ($40). We’ll do some roll-up sandwiches and a simple Chicken-Barley Soup, while learning to measure, read recipes, and follow instructions. We’ll also make a simple dessert that the kids will be able to make at home, to show off what they’ve learned. PEG’s classes have started many a cook on the path to the pleasures of creating and serving good food to family and friends. This is your kid’s chance to join that club.

PEG NEIREITER , is an instructor at Ivy Tech, a former Home Econ¬omics teacher and has taught our young people’s classes for the past 25 years. Our “kids” classes are fully “hands-on.” Our classes for the “big kids” (grades 4 through 8) are limited to 12 students, and our “little guys” classes (grades 1 through 3) are limited to just 8 students. PEG has three classes on this schedule.
