"Food Processor Menu"

BasilOn Saturday, January 21 at 9:30 a.m. ANNIE will offer a new class highlighting the “work-horse” of the kitchen as she prepares a FOOD PROCESSOR MENU ($40). The class will focus on using the food processor, and its various blades and discs, and what the machine can and can’t do. This time ANNIE will make Home-Made Peanut Butter which later becomes the basis for our processor-made Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream. Before that dessert however we’ll have a Salad of Chopped Vegetables, with a Balsamic Vinaigrette, and a Pizza with the Sausage, Dough, Sliced Veggies and Pizza Sauce all made in the food processor. Didn’t know you could do all that? Then you need to take the class, and you will learn a lot, I promise.

This quarter ANNIE will teach two other classes:

ANNIE LESLIE, is one of our newer instructors, although she may be a familiar face because she’s been working with other instructors in our classes for several years. ANNIE is a Culinary Institute of America graduate chef whose “day job” is developing MRE’s for our Armed Forces overseas. She is also a mother to new son Patrick.
