"New Food Processor Tips & Tricks"
Sunday, January 31, 2010 - 2:00pm

Food ProcessorMARY will use the Cuisinart Elite Series food processor, and some older processors as well, on Sunday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. when she offers a class in NEW FOOD PROCESSOR TIPS & TRICKS ($40). The focus will be on pastries. We’ll make Lemon Curd Tartlets, a savory pie, Annie’s Strudel, Italian Ciabatta bread, a muffin, and Stuffed Chicken Breast, to show you how to use your food processor for every course in your dinner. Wait, I forgot, she’ll also make a chopped salad with home-made vinaigrette, and if you’re not using the food processor to make salad dressings, you’re spending way too much at the grocery store. We sold a lot of food processors in December, so we expect this class will fill up pretty quickly. Come see why chefs think the processor is more important than the mixer, blender and microwave, all combined.

MARY REZEK, although a long-time staff member, has only recently begun teaching classes for us. MARY is a full-time librarian who loves books, cats and good food, although not necessarily in that order. She is like a kid in a candy store (or a cook at Kitchen Affairs) over the all-new Cuisinart Elite Series food processors. These are the first truly redesigned food processor in 15 years. We can’t keep them in stock and sold all we could get our hands on in December.
