"The Passover Seder Class"
Saturday, March 20, 2010 - 9:30am

Soup THE PASSOVER SEDER CLASS ($48) will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20. This is a very long class, at least 3 hours, but you will love it. We will talk about the history of the Seder; many of its customs, and learn to make both the ritual foods and the traditional supper that is part of the evening’s events. Charoset, an apple-nut-honey mixture, a home-made horseradish, Chicken Soup with Matzah Balls (knaidlach), Beef Brisket with a kugel (a potato “pudding”) and vegetables, and a Sponge Cake made without flour are all a part of the evening. We offer this class for those who have never experienced a traditional Seder or those who may wish to hold their own Seder for the first time. Please sign up early; this class involves a lot of preparation and planning.

Shelly will also be teaching other classes this session:

Saturday, January 16 at 9:30 am:
Fun with Filo

Thursday, January 28 at 6:30 pm:
Hot Wok, & Easy!

Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30 pm:
Go For the Dough!
