On Thursday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. ROB will be cooking with BOURBON, BOURBON EVERYWHERE ($55), but not a drop to drink! Starting out with a Cedar Planked Salmon in Bourbon Sauce, we’ll also enjoy Gourmet Mixed Greens with Whiskey-Glazed Pecans and Spiked Cranberries. Our main course is a Bourbon-Marinated Beef Tenderloin with Cherry Wood Smoked Bacon, served with a Saffron Risotto with Wild Mushrooms and Roasted Asparagus. For dessert, we’ll sample some Kentucky Bourbon Truffles. The Bourbon kings of France may have drunk wine, but in Kentucky, Bourbon is King! (Will fill quickly!)
ROB GRANBERG, formerly of Evansville, now lives outside Louisville, and is the regional manager for Gordon Food Service. Years ago when he lived here, he taught for us regularly, and our students loved his classes. Last fall he taught a single class for us, and we could have sold it 3 times over, so we are offering the same class on this new schedule, and we’re sure it will sell out again!
