SHELLY & MIKE SACKETT will team up to offer our BRAVO BARCELONA MENU ($65). This class is the result of some classes we took in Spain a few years ago. We begin with Tapas, those little dishes or appetizers which are found all over España and which are never the same from city to city. Ours will include a lot of olives, cheeses, almonds, etc. It’s a nice sampling of tastes. Our second course is a Tomato Soup served with a Gremolata and Smoked Cheese. We’ll also sample a Mancha Salad of oranges and olives. Our fiesta dish is Paella de Marisco (seafood), and it’s really something! For dessert we’ll have Crema Catalunya, similar to a crème brûlée, only better. We don’t do this class often, so sign up quickly. It’s sold out every time we’ve taught it, I think.

SHELLY SACKETT, our school director, is also our most popular instructor. She’s taught more than 30 different menus, and repeats the same dozen or so “stand-bys” every year. SHELLY has one rule: You don’t need any great skills to take these classes, and these are recipes you will use again and again. SHELLY has three repeated classes on this schedule, and one class which she and MIKE are teaching together.
