"Chuckwagon Bar-B-Que"

Pasta On Sunday, September 25, beginning at 1:30 p.m. AIMEE will prepare an old-fashioned CHUCKWAGON BAR-B-QUE ($48). Our Smoked Beef Brisket will be smoked (using a stove-top) smoker, and finished in the oven. The juices from the brisket will become the basis for our Texas-style Bar-B-Que Sauce to slather over the brisket. Our sides will be a Vinegar Cole Slaw and Ranch-style Pinto Beans with Bacon, accompanied by Dutch oven corn bread with cheese and peppers, and a fresh Apple Crisp for dessert. This is going to be some good eating, for sure!

AIMEE BLUME, teacher, newspaper writer and chef, is a graduate of Western Culinary Institute and has cooked in several cities around the country including New Orleans. She also loves Italian food, and loves to prepare it, too.
