DAVID PAMPUCH is the owner of Geronte’s Pizza here in Woodland Center, but pizza is only the beginning of his talents. DAVID is one of our original four instructors and still fills classes regularly. On this schedule, he’s repeating three of his best classes.
On Monday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. David will repeat our original “hands-on” class as we assist him in making Simple Pasta ($45). In this class, we will all be involved in making a simple egg pasta and forming our own Tortellini to smother with David’s Quick Alfredo Sauce. We’ll also crank out a Spinach Pasta, to serve with a 5-Minute Tomato and Vegetable Sauce; and a Tomato Pasta, to enjoy with a Garlic-Clam Sauce. For dessert, there’s Chocolate Linguine with Fresh Berries and Zabaglione. No prior experience necessary for this class. Just a love for pasta and an appetite are all that’s required.
On Thursday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m. David will be making Pizza, Family Style ($44). In this class, we’ll watch David make two different home made crusts, a “from-scratch” pizza sauce, the very best freshly made Italian sausage, and three pizzas; including the most authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza available south of the Calumet river. This is definitely not your typical chain or restaurant deep-dish pizza. The homemade sausage recipe alone is worth the price of the class. Bring a friend to this one. This class is always filling, and always full! Sign up soon.
On Thursday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. David returns to offer a second helping of pasta. Only this time it’s Stuffed Pastas ($45) we’ll enjoy. Our menu includes Spinach Tortellini with Pumpkin, some Shrimp Won Ton, Made Three Ways, and a Chicken Cordon Bleu Manicotti. Our dessert in this one is a Chocolate Ravioli with Cherries. You too, will be stuffed, if you sign up in time to take this class. |
